The heavy metal band Shadow Of Intent has been around since the year 2014 with many accompaniments under their belt such as charting highly on the billboard music charts and millions of streams on YouTube. Fans of this notoriously heavy band are waiting in eager anticipation for their fifth album upcoming on June 27, 2025. The title of this album is “Imperium Delirium” and it comes after a a small break from releasing music for the band, with the last album being “Elegy” in 2022. As a way to get fans even more excited for the upcoming albums they released the first single “Mechanical Chaos” on June 6th. 

After a few listens to this song, it is clear that they have been sticking to their usual hard and deep metal sound with the heavy hitting lyrics, the sound they are know for. Along with the song they released a music video that showcases the extraordinary talented creative minds of all of the members of this band with very interesting yet intense lighting and visuals, as a very interesting story.

It has a storytelling mixture of war, violence, and perseverance. Along with the single they have eleven songs on their upcoming album, all sure to garner attention and excitement for new and old fans of this extraordinary and genre influencing band that have eagerly been waiting to hear new music from this brilliant band. The music video, with only being out for six days at the time of this review, already has 82,000 views on YouTube, which is extremely impressive for a new single. This upcoming album is sure to touch on topics that are anything but light as they are known to be a very progressive band.
