Noah Cyrus Emo’s Austin show took place on October 22, 2025, and transformed Emo’s into a living storybook with a folk-inspired, emotional atmosphere. As part of her I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me North American tour, she delivered a performance filled with storytelling, soft visuals, and beautifully crafted moments.
A Gentle Opening from Braison Cyrus
The evening began with Braison Cyrus, whose soft acoustic sound eased the crowd into the night. His set felt comforting and personal with steady vocals, reflective lyrics, and a relaxed stage presence that made it feel like he was sharing thoughtful conversations through music. His warmth set the tone perfectly for everything that followed.
Braison Cyrus has been expanding his musical catalog. He recently released a new single with Miley Cyrus titled “Know This.” His next release is a collaboration with Noah Cyrus called “As Long As You’ll Stay,” which is set to come out on November 21, 2025.

A Lantern, a Forest, and an Entrance That Stilled the Room
When the lights shifted and Noah stepped onstage, Emo’s changed instantly. She entered holding a small lantern, warm light glowing across her face as she walked toward the microphone. Behind her, the set resembled a mystical forest filled with vines, soft textures, and gentle haze. The entire scene felt earthy and dreamlike, almost cinematic.
She opened with “I Saw the Mountains”, a slow and reflective track that immediately pulled the room into silence. Her voice floated through the haze, and everyone in the venue became completely focused.
Standout Songs and Emotional Highlights
Throughout her set, Noah moved through songs that showcased the full range of her voice and artistry. Some of the strongest moments included:
- “I Burned LA Down” which was intense and vocally powerful
- “The Funeral” (Band of Horses cover) which was haunting and stripped back, leaving the crowd stunned
- “July” which became one of the most emotional sing alongs of the night
- “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” which she delivered with a soft, spiritual tone
Before performing “July”, Noah shared an important part of her journey. She explained that she only had five hundred dollars to make the music video, so she and a friend went out and recorded whatever they could. She talked about how her fans helped the song become more successful than she ever expected. That support showed her she did not need to stay inside the typical bubblegum pop sound. “July” helped her realize that the stripped back and honest style she loved was more than enough, and that she could create the kind of music that felt true to her.
The crowd cheered as she told the story, and the entire room sang the chorus with her.

A Sibling Moment and a Special Surprise
Midway through the night, Noah invited Braison back onstage for a gentle duet. Their harmonies blended naturally in a way that felt warm and real. Noah mentioned that they used to sing together on the way to school, and that childhood bond was clear in how easily their voices came together.
Later, during the encore, Bill Callahan joined Noah onstage. His deep vocal tone contrasted beautifully with her softer style. Together, they performed Nick Cave’s “Into My Arms”, creating an intimate moment that held the entire room still.
They also performed a newer track titled “XXX”, which had recently been released. Hearing it performed live with Bill gave the song even more emotional weight. Their voices worked surprisingly well together, creating a raw and memorable performance.

A Final Glow
By the end of the night, the stage looked like a peaceful woodland scene that had briefly come alive to tell stories. Noah left with the same calm energy she brought in, and the audience stayed for a moment before slowly dispersing, almost unwilling to break the atmosphere she created.
Austin hosts countless artists every year, but Noah Cyrus’s stop at Emo’s stood out. The show was thoughtful, atmospheric, emotional, and beautifully crafted from beginning to end.
