Gunna’s Wun World Tour is a “Wun of One” Experience

The Wun World Tour is a highly energetic showcase of Gunna’s chart-toppers with a non-stop two hour performance, a testament to the type of performer Gunna is. The Bojangles Coliseum is no small venue. The line wrapped around the venue before doors even opened with fans eagerly awaiting entrance. You could tell this show was going to be a night to remember.

The lights dimmed, the visuals played, cameras in hand, and the first note of “cfwm” hit. The uproar of the crowd filled the venue as Gunna stepped out to start to his performance. The elevated energy followed with tracks “just say dat,” “sakpase,” and “endless.” All of which are from Gunna’s latest album “The Last Wun,” an album that emphasizes his evolution as an artist and solidifying his legacy in the music industry forever. Hence why you can make the connection between the album cover art and stage set up with a multitude of stone-like figures which Gunna references to his statement, “stones last forever.”

Gunna was locked in a flow state of mind smoothly transitioning from one timeless classic to another. Moving left and right across stage making sure he connected with every one of his fans. Props to Nechie matching the energy as he was brought out to perform “i can’t feel my face” a fan favorite on “The Last Wun.” The catchy melodic rap sound of Gunna was imminent in this project with a more highlighted mellow sound throughout “The Last Wun” as it is his last album with label, YSL, marking a chapter ending in his coveted music journey.

He included back to back songs dedicated for the ladies in attendance which included tracks “P power,” “poochie gown,” and “Banking On Me.” Gunna was feeling the vibe and the crowd was radiating the love they have for him. He continued to play a wide range of ageless hits from all of his chart-topping albums, “One of Wun,” “a Gift & a Curse,” and “WUNNA.” Along with many other platinum certified singles.

Gunna makes his performances memorable regardless but why not bring out an unexpected guest to make it more special? The crowd cheers echoed around the coliseum as they ecstatically saw the face of Moneybagg Yo emerge from the shadows. Fans jumped along with Moneybagg Yo rapping word for word to “Said Sum.” Not many names can keep a crowd as hyped as the beginning of a set but not too difficult for Gunna as he continued with multi-platinum certified records “pushin P,” “fukumean,” and “Hot.”

The show was a performance filled with passion, unfiltered excitement, and an atmosphere that was truly special. Fans got to hear pretty much every classic hit in Gunna’s catalog and they still kept wanting more. Wrapping up the show with track, “made for this shit” felt like the rightful ending. A slow, yet fun anthem that recaps Gunna’s ever-growing journey as an artist in his own way and creating his own style. The success has been a whirlwind of highs and lows but one thing is for certain Gunna is at the top of the ladder and he doesn’t plan on stepping down anytime soon.
