On January 7, 2026- FOTOCRIME released their brand new music video for “Plowjob” as well as announced that their LP Security will be released on March 13. “Plowjob” expresses how individuals want full control of the narrative and don’t want to be told their views are wrong. This is how the world is at the moment. The control certain individuals want to have over others and don’t want to take a second and realize their views are wrong.
“The new album has some synth textures, but for Security we had a different sort of goal. We recorded most of the music live, and what you’re hearing is primarily guitar, bass, and drum machine. So there are plenty of Soviet-era analog synths, but not anywhere near the amount that there has been with Fotocrime previously.” – FOTOCRIME
