On January 16, 2026- Hudson Ingram released his new single “Baby Just Be” alongside a lyric video via Interscope Records. As I listened to this single and watched the official video; I noticed that it was created in a more vintage style. It could represent holding onto memories of your past and being able to look back at simpler times. “Baby Just Be” is almost like being invited to a private emotional space with the artist and allowing yourself to deeply understand him through his lyricism

“‘Baby Just Be’ was one of the first songs I wrote after I left home and moved to Nashville, and it was the first of many me and one of my best friends and closest collaborators – Jack Schrepferman – made together. Sometimes songs just fall out of the air, and when you’re at the right place and time, they find you. We wrote this in between coffee breaks, on Jack’s floor, plucking on a guitar with a broken string, pulling the song from thin air. The song tells a very real story, and writing it down felt like memorializing that experience, and honoring what it took to get past it. Aaron took it and built a whole world around it… and he somehow made it feel more complete and expansive, without at all losing what it was at the core.
