Photographing the Make Heaven Crowded Tour in Nashville felt different from the start. I could instantly feel chills as soon as I walked into the church. The atmosphere wasn’t loud right away, but it was heavy in the best way — like everyone walked in expecting something real to happen. This event was led by speakers and worship leaders including Pastor Allen Jackson, Eric Metaxas, Lucas Miles, Millicent Sedra, and Danny Gokey. The whole night felt more like a movement than a concert. From the moment worship started, I knew this wasn’t going to be about just getting cool stage shots. Yes, the lighting and production were strong, but what stood out to me was the emotion in the room. What really stood out to me throughout the night was how personal it all felt. The worship wasn’t just music playing — it was people responding, surrendering, celebrating, and connecting with each other. I caught glimpses of friends praying together, strangers embracing, hands reaching out in worship, and people moved to tears. Those fleeting, authentic moments are what I live for as a photographer — the ones you can’t stage or recreate. By the end of the night, I realized that photographing the Make Heaven Crowded Tour wasn’t just about capturing images — it was about capturing a story. Every lifted hand, every bowed head, every tear and smile told a part of that story. I walked away with more than photos; I walked away with a sense of the energy, faith, and connection that filled the room.
