NYC Metal Band Icon PRONG Announce New Song Release

Metal icons PRONG has released a live classic version of their song, “Span Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck” as a single and video which will be included on their newest live album, Live and Uncleansed which looks like it will be coming out in March. PRONG ‘s creator and vocalist Tommy Victor says, “This live version of “Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck” is raw, high energy, and unpolished. If you want to get exposed to PRONG or you want to get a taste of the explosive live show, this song is a must!” The song speaks about extremes and about how similar it is to snap your fingers and snapping your neck both can happen in a moment. What did you choose? As a human being, you have a choice.

PRONG, based out of NYC, started in 1986 and now has 13 albums released with the 14th in the works. The band has been described as a groove metal some call them industrial metal and thrash metal. They emerged out of the New York City hardcore scene along with bands like Pantera, Sepultura, and Machine Head as all part of the groove metal of the 1990s. Currently the band members are Tommy Victor vocalist and original member with Christopher Dean bassist and back up vocalist and Tyler Joesph drummer, despite the many years of band members coming and going they have maintained the true depth of their sound and still growing and learning.
