
On April 2, 2026 – Maggie Rogers, known for songs such as “Light On” and “Don’t Forget Me” has been in the music industry for almost 10 years and has had many hit songs in her respective genre. She has rose to fame due to a viral video of her playing her song “Alaska” for Pharrell and his reaction to it sparked interest moving her career to new heights. Since then, she has went on to have Grammy nominations as well as sold out headlining tours for her albums. She is using her fame for good, as she has recently started a philanthropic foundation, named after her, The Maggie Rodgers Foundation which is aimed at fostering music education for students of all walks of life in many areas as well as helping to foster and focus on the mental health and welfare of women.
Her first step in this foundation is an endowed scholarship fund named after her at NYU Tisch School of Arts where she attended and graduated. It will offer financial help to students pursuing music production as their career path. Her most recent performance was a heartwarming rendition of Frank Sinatras hit song “One More For Me Baby” as well as “Alaska” on an episode of “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert on April 1, 2026.
