We are only one month into the year 2026 and it is already shaping up to be a year filled with album and tour announcements. Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, BTS, 5 seconds of summer, and Bruno Mars are just a few of the artists gearing up to headline tours this year, and most have not been on a tour in many years. On top of that, we are getting album and single announcements from artists like Noah Kahan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, and those are only the verified ones! Many other artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, and Niall Horan have all teased upcoming album releases in the near future, posing photos in the studio or leaving clues and hints in photos and comments on social media to keep their fans on edge. Whether you are into the Kpop band BTS or Pitbull, there is surely to be a concert coming up that sparks the interest in many people. I am not sure why so many artists are deciding to announce or tour this year but as a music lover and fan at heart I am very grateful and excited to see what this year still has in store. There is no better feeling than seeing your favorite artists announce albums and songs that they are passionate and proud of and getting to hear live music from artists who have been out of the spotlight for a while. Live music, and music in general brings people together in a way that nothing else can, as well as being a fan of an artist and being able to watch their career bloom over their growing discography and watch their fan base support them in beautiful ways. It has always been a fact that it is beneficial to have things to look forward to such as trips or events, and I feel like the whole world has a lot to look forward to in the coming months and this year in general with all the wonderful music that is on the horizon
