On May 8, 2026- Alternative rock band, Lightwatch released their newest single “Nicotine” that expresses how addiction can fully consume an individual and the desire of wanting more. The video is filmed in a skatepark and that could be seen as a metaphor that represents the core meaning of the song. It represents the highs and lows of addiction and how cycles are repeated. The soundscape of the single is emotionally unstable that expresses self-awareness and the understanding that you can escape from the cycle, but still thrive on the thrill.
