On May 29, 2026– Southern California band, Integra Pink released their new EP Knucks (Left) via Futureless Records. The EP is fueled by the love of creating music with a blend of different genres that can easily catch the attention of a broad audience.

Interviewer: The new single “1999” has a nostalgic, dreamlike quality. How does this track set the tone for the rest of the EP?

Integra Pink: ““1999” was the 3rd single from KNUCKS (left) and probably the most different from the rest of the songs. I think its job was to set the tone for what we have coming next.

Interviewer: You’ve been described as blending cumbia, punk, and new wave. How did these diverse influences come together during the recording process for this project?

Integra Pink: “Because these are all sounds that we listen to, they come out pretty naturally when we write and record. We also all come from different backgrounds when it comes to musical taste so naturally the end product always has a mix of different sounds and influences.

Interviewer: Bardo mentioned that “1999” is about meeting the right person at the wrong time. Are there other central themes or stories that tie the tracks on Knucks (left) together?

Integra Pink: “I think “1999” was kind of a stand alone track on KNUCKS (left) when it comes to its theme. But when we made the track list we were looking ahead at the whole picture of what we plan on doing and think it’s a perfect bridge.”

Interviewer: Your live shows and the PinkTv series are very visual and DIY. How does your visual identity influence the music you write?

Integra Pink: “At the start of Integra, we were as influenced by music as we were from video games, TV shows and movies. Stuff like Tony Hawk video games and Jackass. And early on I knew I wanted to evoke that sense of nostalgia from our audience. So us making those Pink Tv episodes was fun for us and a way to showcase our shows and personalities, but also a means of curating that nostalgic feeling.”

Interviewer: With the EP release and an upcoming tour with Dyego, what are you most excited for fans to experience in this next chapter of the band?

Integra Pink: “I think I’m excited for them to see what we’re capable of. Since the beginning I’ve always wanted to be better than what people would expect from a band our size. And as we continue to grow, I hope the quality of what we do continues to outgrow us. I always want people to be surprised that what we do came from a band like us.”
