J. Cole’s “The Fall-Off” World Tour in Miami, Florida!

J. Cole hit The Fall-Off Tour in Miami at the Kaseya Center and delivered a show that reminded us of why he is one of the more respected artist when it comes to live hip-hop. The crowd went wild as he hit the stage firing on all cylinders for a show that delivered high-energy rap through a personal lens. Showing all he needed was himself and the mic, Cole enthralled a sold-out arena and proved he is a force to be reckoned with.

The high-energy tracks were the biggest during the night, as the whole arena was rapping every word with Cole, from G.O.M.D., to No Role Modelz and A Tale of 2 Citiez, the stadium was the biggest singalong with fans matching him from start to finish. Cole’s impeccable breath control and command of the stage meant that he was projecting the same energy throughout each track that the listening crowd will be very familiar with. Cole had the whole arena hyped throughout with his engagement and high energy from each section of the arena.

Equally as powerful were the more subdued, emotion-filled tunes that had always been the backbone of J. Cole concerts. Songs like this are vital to a show because they get the audience to relax and really hear what he is trying to say.

People could sit back and ponder the stories that are told through the music, with the entire sold out Kaseya Center turning into a comfortable listening lounge.

I felt that, as a fan, it was an emotional night already, just to be a part of such a great show. But then, somebody in the audience proposed to another fan and of course the emotion in the Center cannot be described.

And Miami’s energy from start to finish was unmatched and really blared directly into Cole’s set, whether he was dropping pounding pop anthems or personal tales in an electric-meets-intimate flow not seen very often. This show proved that not only is J. Cole an example to his generation, he’s also one of the few full access live artists left.
