ghostbells releases “Immortal Lovers” and announces UK, EU, and Northern America Tour dates!

On January 9, 2026– New York based electronic duo; ghostbells released their new single “Immortal Lovers” alongside the official music video via Out of Line Music. “Immortal Lovers” brings you on a hypnotic journey of pulsating repetitions that will leave you in a trance.

“‘Immortal Lovers’ is about being trapped in the cycle of what keeps you alive and what destroys you. It’s that pull between self-preservation and self-destruction — when you realize both come from the same dark place.”ghostbells

We got a chance to ask Jim in ghostbells a few questions about who they are as musicians and what fans can expect!

Interviewer: ghostbells; how did you two come up with the name? And does it have a deeper meaning behind it?

Jim: we came up with a list of names and thought the two words sounded interseting and a bit spooky together. Turns out that at one time people would wear little silver bells and ring them to ward off evil spirits and guide the benevolent ones. Bells were seen as protective.

Interviewer: Can you give us insight about you two and what led you to create the type of music that you do?

Jim: we love electronic music of all types. When we started creating ghostbells music it really moved us in an emotional way. With that feeling we knew we were on the right path.

Interviewer: Are there any non-musical influences that helped shape your sound?

Jim: Art and culture of all types influence us.

Interviewer: Are there specific themes that you two like to express in your music?

Jim: Lyrically speaking, Jessica really likes to explore dark themes. The lyrics might be taken at face value or as a metaphor. In general the themes will be dark. Dying, death, afterlife, inner demons, etc…

Interviewer: During live shows; can you give us some insight about your stage presence?

Jim: The live show is very energetic.. Jumping, screaming, dancing, a bit of everything for everyone.
