The Failsafe unleashed a brand new single “Happy To Be Here” that’s filled with seduction and intensity. The instrumentation is impulsive almost mimicking the decisions of having an intimate moment with a stranger that you don’t know. The song oozes desire that causes an emotional whiplash to the listener which makes the single even more intoxicating

“Our new single “Happy To Be Here” is a heavy active rock song with pop-tinged hooks and production that tells the story of being along for the ride on a chaotic and exciting one-night-stand.”– The Failsafe

We got to ask The Failsafe some questions about the new release!

Interviewer: “What was the first spark that led to this song?”

The Failsafe: “This song was one of the 3 songs we worked on with Producer Andrew Baylis and his team. We sifted through instrumental demos and landed on this one as the 2nd song we chose for the 3.”

Interviewer: “What does this song represent for you personally?”

The Failsafe: “It represents a pivotal point in our song writing process where we went from being mainly self produced to flying out to Nashville to work with one of the biggest names in rock music production.”

Interviewer: “Is there a central message you hope listeners take away?”

The Failsafe: “That we can be in the middle of hell and chaos but still happy in the moment with the right person that you hate to love.”

Interviewer: “How does the music video tie into the song’s message?”

The Failsafe: “This is a straight forward driving heavy song and we made our video match those dynamics.”
