Fans gathered inside the commons of Ernie Eveland Gym to escape the cold while eagerly waiting for the doors to open. Doors opened at 5:30p.m. as fans flooded the Ernie Eveland Gym they were greeted by the host of Xplozive Entertainment Andrew Dick.  Fans who did not purchase a ticket for entry online was able to purchase a ticket for entry in person at the door.

As fans continued to crowd into the gym, check out all of the vendors, and choose their seats the night was just getting started.

First to take the stage was nationally known Christian punk rock singer Nate Parrish formerly known from his role in the band Kutless. Nate delivered a high energy performance that set the overall mood for the evening. Leading in worship, and sharing his testimony. Nate delivered a powerful message about forgiveness “It is a great realization when you realize that you are small and God is big” Nate stated with a heartfelt tone. He introduced the audience to a new song he wrote. Nate told the audience that he wrote the song to inform his dad what life has been like since he has been gone. Nate stated “This song is called I’m Alright” as he strummed his guitar and eased into song.

Shortly to follow Nate Parrish’s performance was Magdalene Rose. Magdalene captivated the audience with her harmonious voice mixed with her ability to incorporate screams mid song. Magdalene shared her testimony speaking about her mental health challenges and how she felt empty without Christ. Magdalene spoke to her fans informing them that they are not alone no matter what season of life they are in. As Magdalene performed her last song of the night she informed her fans that she would be hanging out at her merchandise stand to meet everyone.

A small break occurred after Magdalene exited the stage. As the stage came alive again, Jason Dunn of Hawk Nelson was presented to the spotlight. He delivered an electrifying set dancing, jumping, singing, and boldly leading the crowd in praise to the Lord. Beyond the high energy, Jason shared his personal testimony with fans, opening up about stepping away from music and the journey God used to lead him back to the stage. Later fans learned from Joseph Rojas that Jason was performing an acoustic set when Joseph mentioned bringing Jason on tour. Without any knowledge of Joseph saying so Joseph shared that Jason in front of hundreds of fans called to Joseph who was watching in the audience requesting that he take him on the road.

As everyone began to prepare for headlining artist Seventh Day Slumber. The lights dimmed and fans scurried back to their seats the bands drummer took his position followed by the bassist. Shortly to follow in the walk out was the bands lead singer Joseph Rojas. Incorporating songs such as Lion and The Lamb, Waymaker, and From The Inside Out the band also played some of their original songs such as Caroline. The set included pyro which wowed the crowed. As the show continued Joseph slowed things down to share his testimony. He spoke about his battle with addiction to alcohol and how God moved in his life helping him overcome his war. He welcomed his son Blaise to the stage who shared the powerful testimony of restoring and healing in his father’s life through Christ! They encouraged fans to sponsor a child in need and offered free merchandise to everyone who chose to sign up.  Seventh Day Slumber performed just a couple more songs prior to the show ending and greeted fans at their merchandise table for photo opportunities and autographs.
