Loco Estillo Ink is a tattoo shop located in Paris, Illinois. There is however one artist working within Loco Estillo INK that deserves beyond artist recognition. That artist is known as “Loco” himself. However when we asked Loco for a bit about himself and he formally introduced himself as Juan Hernandez!
“Some of y’all know me, and some of y’all might only know me through the ink so let me introduce myself the right way.
My name is Juan Hernandez, but most people know me as Loco. I’m the artist behind Loco Estilo Ink here in Paris, Illinois. For me, tattooing has never just been about putting ink on skin. It’s about the people who sit in my chair. Every tattoo I do represents something real a memory, a story, a moment in someone’s life, or even a boost of confidence. That’s something I don’t take lightly”
Juan Continued “As a person, I’m pretty laid back. I like to laugh, keep the energy positive, and make sure everyone who walks into the shop feels comfortable and respected. No egos, no pressure just good vibes and honest work. I want people to feel like they can be themselves here.”
As an artist, I’m always pushing myself to get better. Whether it’s clean linework, bold black and grey, color pieces, flash events, or custom designs, I take pride in every piece that leaves my chair. I don’t rush art — I build it with intention.
But something else that’s important to me is the community. Loco Estilo Ink isn’t just a tattoo shop — it’s a place that stays connected to the people around it. I care about supporting the local community and creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re getting their first tattoo or their tenth.

Has been a proud supporter of community outreach and is always stepping out to bat for supporting community organizations such as The Human Resources Center Of Edgar and Clark counties, Local Girl Scouts and even including themselves in community events. Jaun and his wife Belinda have big hearts and are always willing to greet the community with open arms and support local organizations in any way possible! Jain has even taken on creatives who want to learn the art of tattooing. It is safe to say Jaun and his wife have made community members feel at home with them and have created a space where art is an essential part of everyday expression.
