Redveil is going city to city performing his newest album release, Sanfoka on The Sankofa Tour. A tour giving him his second headlining spotlight to date. The young 21 year-old Maryland artist, real name Marcus Morton, is one of the most promising stars coming up. Sankofa is a music project that blends a soulful, lo-fi, and jazzy sound with an intense lyrical ability that takes you through the gritty perseverance and growth of the young artist.

Instantly the tone was set starting with the track, time (a deferred dream), a creative song that brings a sense of alertness and urgency with the use of phone alarms and clocks to go along with the jazz and soulful instrumental. Redveil may not have the typical rap show most fans are used to when they first think of hip-hop shows.
