Interviewer: For new fans; what themes do you explore in your music?
Jaguero: “Our music lives between emotional urgency and personal honesty: we explore the tension of living life on your own terms, the push-and-pull of relationships, and the hunt for identity and connection in everyday life. There’s a raw blend of punk, grunge, and emo that we use to express vulnerability, self-determination, and the moments where emotion clashes with expectation.“
Interviewer: “TwentyFour7” is your brand new single; what was the creative process with this single and how did the band come up with the name? Any specific meaning behind the song title?
Jaguero: “With “Twentyfour7” we wanted a track that reflected the constant, often exhausting feeling of being pulled in multiple directions. The creative process started with the mid-song choir, and it was about letting that tension drive the evolution of the song, finding a balance between heaviness and melody. The title is based on the familiar “24/7” phrase, capturing the idea that life doesn’t pause and feelings don’t clock out, which felt like the right way to frame that nonstop emotional push and pull.”
Interviewer: Why did you choose this as your last release?
Jaguero: “We chose Twentyfour7 as the latest release because it’s one of the defining moments on the record: a kind of milestone that signals where we are musically and thematically. It represents the bridge into the new Make Me Feel Alive Again LP and sets the tone for what’s going on with the last songs of the album.“
Interviewer: Does this song represent where the band is emotionally right now?
Jaguero: “Absolutely: Twentyfour7 is about vulnerability and self-assertion, and in that duality we feel it mirrors who we are right now, embracing openness while staying true to our own voice and identity.“
Interviewer: What’s next for the band following this release?
Jaguero: “Following this single, the focus is on completing and finally sharing our debut full-length album Make Me Feel Alive Again, due on April 10th via Anchors Aweigh Records. With that, we’ll be rolling out more live shows in order to bring the record’s energy to life on stage.“
