This Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10am local time, tickets go on sale for An Evening with Phil Rosenthal. This leg of tour will have over 20 cities across North America for a live moderated conversation where Phil will share insight into his life including his 40-year entertainment career, food, travel, and more, according to Live Nation. After the moderated conversation, there will be the opportunity for an audience Q&A. Rosenthal has experience in multiple avenues in the entertainment industry from television to books to podcasts, his name is everywhere.
Phil Rosenthal is the creator of the popular food and travel Netflix show, “Somebody Feed Phil” and is a “two-time New York Times Best Selling Author and soon-to-be restaurant owner.” In his television show, Rosenthal uses his humor to feature food from all over the world. A new season for his series is coming to Netflix on June 18, 2025. His book is a companion to the show, “Somebody Feed Phil The Book” which was released in the United States on October 20, 2022. Right after the release, Rosenthal’s book was featured on the New York Times Best Sellers list and led to his tour across the globe; selling out multiple venues.
There is much to look forward to regarding Rosenthal this year, including his North American tour. His diner, “Max & Helen’s”, named after his parents will be opening in Los Angeles, California this year. Executive Chef Nancy Silverton, a winner of the James Beard Foundation’s Outstanding Chef Award 2014, has elevated this dishes to be served at the diner. Additionally, on November 4, 2025 his second cookbook, “Phil’s Favorites”, will be published, featuring dishes from chefs and restaurants around the world and his family and friends. Recipes from Judy Gold and Anna Romano will be included in this cookbook.
Philanthropy is another focus of Phil Rosenthal. The Somebody Feed the People initiative was launched in October 2020, continuing each year, focused on supporting organizations that were building community through food and making an impact. The Rosenthal Family Foundation partnered with organizations across the United States to support work that addresses food access and insecurity, strengthen the health of our food systems, create employment pathways, and more. Furthermore, in 2022, Rosenthal worked with Katie Couric and Jeff MacGregor on the documentary, “For Love and Life: No Ordinary Campaign.” This documentary featured Brain Wallach and Sandra Abrevaya battle with ALS and the movement to help others battling this disease all over the world. It won a couple awards at different film festivals.
