Lorna Shore brought complete mayhem to House of Blues in Myrtle Beach!

On May 12, 2026- Lorna Shore performed at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach with special guests: Signs of The Swarm and Paleface Swiss. I was literally at this venue the other day for Bloodywood and let me tell you. The atmosphere was very different. It was ominous and sinister which matched the music for the night, but you could sense the tension from the attendees. You could see the brutality that was about to unleash from these souls in the crowd.

The first band to perform was Signs of The Swarm and I haven’t seen this band since they performed with Thy Art Is Murder. Bobby (Drummer) is one of my favorite musicians in this industry because of how heavy and suffocating his drums are that drapes over the crowd like a dark shadow of intensity. When the band started their set; the crowd turned into a complete frenzy that erupted into a sweat soaked and pit driven atmosphere. There was no controlled violence for their set. Bodies collided into each other, blood splattered left and right, and that aggression didn’t stop till the end of their set. David’s (Vocalist) vocals are so venomous that it makes you feel like you are in a delusion and you are stuck in a constant wave of aggression and animalistic violence. As I was standing at the barricade taking photos, I noticed there were four different mosh pits happening at the same time. I don’t think I ever seen a mosh pit break out right at the barricade before.

Next up was Paleface Swiss and I personally never listened to them, but their set felt like I was in an electric chair getting a consistent jolt of electricity until my body felt numb. Their set felt like a never ending nightmare and the vocalist was the sleep paralysis demon that hovered over you hoping you would open up your eyes. Since I never listened to this band before, I had no idea what songs were being performed, so I went with the flow and enjoyed the performance the band provided for the crowd. Rage is the best term to explain their set. It felt like the rage that the monkeys received in 28 Days Later and caused an apocalypse. Souls were being taken from the crowd with how feral the mosh pits became. The pits became larger, more violent, and it honestly felt like each attendee in the pit was embracing anger and letting it all out on one another. The crowd surfers for this band was insane and the security guards did such a phenomenal job with making sure everyone got over the barricade safely.

Finally it was time for Lorna Shore. Before the band went on stage there was a girl crying because Will Ramos (Vocalist) is one of her favorite musicians and she felt so lucky to be right at the barricade for them. When the musicians started to walk onto the stage it felt like a mini earthquake happening at the barricade because of the screams, jumping, and everyone pulling at the barricade. The visuals on the large production screens behind the musicians truly amped up the intensity and added such cinema to the whole set. It made the experience feel like I was watching a cinematic movie. Watching the band perform on stage; Will had great control of his vocals which radiated violence, chaos, and such emotional intensity that it sent chills up my spine. Not only did the band bring brutality to the venue, but they also brought a more theatrical brutality by giving fans the full experience with light production and visuals that would burn into their memories.

After the two songs in the photo pit; I wondered around the venue and the amount headbanging throughout the whole venue was quite a remarkable thing to see. In every corner of the venue attendees were either two-stepping by themselves or creating their own mosh pits with their friends. Lorna Shore brought carnage to House of Blues and the storm of chaos lasted throughout their whole set
