On May 13, 2026- the five piece deathcore band, Peacemaker from Florida signed to new label Papercut Recordings. To celebrate the exciting news the band released a new song and music video titled “REVERSE BEAR TRAP“.

The song wastes no time in kicking into overdrive. The guitar tone is brutal, the bass tone is chunky. The drums hit like machine guns and the two vocalist take turns between low gutturals and high screams. The video itself fits the esthetic of the instrumentation in a dark and eerie way inspired by the movie saw. It was my first time listening to the band but now I am a fan with lyrics like “Only the skies will hear your everlasting cries! By my hand you will suffer! By my hand you will die! The night will fade to darkness as it witnessed your demise! The face of death stares into your Lifeless f***ing eyes!”. How can you not be a fan, this song and video are a perfect way to celebrate their new milestone.

The band had this to say about the song. ‘Reverse Bear Trap’ debuts what we have in store for our full-length album releasing this summer through Papercut Recordings. The song depicts someone who is seeking vengeance on a person who seeks to prey on and harm other people.“
