Acres and Ten56 comes to Myrtle Beach!

On May 17, 2025- Acres and Ten56 came to House of Blues in Myrtle Beach for the Fit For The King Tour. The night was filled with attendees singing along, crowd surfing, in the mosh pit throwing fists, and embracing the performances by these artists.

The first band to perform was Acres and I believe the last time I saw them was when they were on tour with The Devil Wears Prada. During their second song; the front of the house lost power and it stopped their performance for about 3 minutes or so. The band stayed in good spirits at this time and made the crowd laugh by telling everyone to say boo to the sound engineer. We still love Kevin though! I swear bands that are not from the states are always the best and have such an unique sound. And filled with admiration while they are on stage to be able to travel the USA doing what they love. Ben (Vocals) has very tight vocals especially with his cleans that can fill the room with such emotion and intensity. Listening to him sing and then go into harsh vocals kept you almost like standing at the edge because with both vocal styles it truly enhanced the experience.

Next was Ten56 and I never listened to this band, but after their set, I became a fan. I knew the second the vocalist walked onto the stage that brutality and complete chaos was about to happen. Watching the band on stage felt like they were all being possessed by an entity and it was feeding into the crowd. Aaron Matts (Vocalist) may look like the typical deathcore vocalist, but he engaged with fans out in the crowd by dancing very feminine, smiling, and waving at them constantly. The band kept the crowd locked in from start to finish between the crushing vocals and electrifying instrumentation. Once I went into the crowd, I instantly regretted it because within seconds, I got shoved in every direction from people in the mosh pit. I swore the mosh pit grew larger in seconds and it engulfed so many attendees. The crowd was filled with adrenaline and anger that continued throughout their whole set.
