Alice Cooper reissues two classic albums from the archives

If you are Alice Cooper, the master of stage and airwaves and you want to let people know he is still at it, bring not just music but entertainment to the stage. What next could he do? With every show for four decades, he brings theater, horror, and dark humor onto the stage and daring everyone else to keep up. Guillotines. snakes. electric chairs, the list goes on.

The ultimate show man is reissuing two iconic albums from the golden treasure box. Alone Came A Spider and Welcome 2 My Nightmare each having their special memory to diehard Cooper fans. Each one brings back some very important moments in rock history.

Along Came A Spider drops you straight into the mind of a serial killer. It’s gritty. Tight. No filler. Tracks like “Vengeance Is Mine” hit even harder with Slash on lead guitar, while “Wake the Dead” carries the weight of Ozzy Osbourne behind the scenes. With Greg Hampton and Danny Saber shaping the sound, the album leans raw and immediate. It doesn’t ask for permission. It just goes for it. Coming with three bonus tracks and will be available in two different formats, A Jewel case CD and a 2LP Gatefold (45 RPM) vinyl edition.

Welcome 2 My Nightmare. The return to Steven’s story. The sequel fans waited decades for, and yeah, it delivers. It pulls threads from the original 1975 album and twists them into something new. Familiar, but not stuck in the past. This reissue comes as a newly mastered 2CD digipak and a 3LP Gatefold (45 RPM) vinyl set, built for serious listening. Seven bonus tracks are included, among them live cuts of “Poison” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy” recorded at Download Festival. Big stage energy is captured properly.

If you have never ever heard of Alice Cooper, then now is the time to jump in and join thousands of fans. The reissuing of these two albums is a genius idea it brings us back to why the magician of rock is still selling out shows and is still wowing fans with his nightly radio show. He is real, raw, and a gentleman.
