Insane Clown Posse brings mayhem, faygo, and community to House of Blues in Myrtle Beach!

On May 30, 2026- Insane Clown Posse made an appearance at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach that truly left me leaving the venue speechless. I’ve personally never listened to ICP before, but a lot of my friends are “Juggalos” and going to this event helped me realize why their fanbase is so loyal. I also realized when I was in high school and some students had this little man holding a clever tattoo on them, it was indicating towards ICP. Before the event even started the line was filled with celebration, love, loyalty, and the most important aspect; Family. Before doors opened, I went to attendees and asked them “what’s important in this community?” and the answers I received was that this community accepts those who treat others with respect and dignity. One attendee did tell me “We are a family. We don’t believe in all this bullshit that the world spews to us. We are here to celebrate one another. If anyone here gives you a hard time; just come find me.” Within 30 minutes, I was covered in fake blood that was sprayed on me by these two attendees and they were the sweetest individuals I think I’ve met at a show before. Every attendee I approached in the line welcomed me and was eager to take a photo! Below are some photos I got of The Juggalo Family!

I honestly don’t think I’ve seen House of Blues this packed before and as I was maneuvering in the crowd to get to the photo pit; EVERYONE was so respectful and allowed me to get by safely. Walking through the venue; all you heard was “WHOOP WHOOP” and I had no idea what that meant either, but when one person started, it echoed throughout the whole venue for a solid ten seconds. I didn’t know the event had three other artists performing, but the opener was Killabynature which I believe he’s an independent hip-hop artist. For an event that’s based on family and respect; no one respected the artist and kept talking through his performance. I understand that many might not know who he was, but he’s another artist in the industry that deserves recognition as well. Smaller artists deserve the same respect. The vocal presence of Killabynature was smooth, precise, and polished and filled with enthusiasm.

Next up on the lineup was Mr. Sadistic and the audience became invested in this artist. His stage presence was filled with confidence and not excessive energy that took away from the vocal performance. Sometimes when I go see hip-hop artists, I want to be able to feel their authenticity in their performance instead of it being sacrificed for loud instrumentation. Mr. Sadistic’s performance felt intimate, genuine, and he created a space where it felt immersive for all attendees to enjoy.

Wakko The Kidd was next and the crowd erupted into excitement. There were two rappers on stage and one was wearing a mask and that time I was wondering who it was. From the second their set started; they had explosive energy and engaged with the crowd consistently. Chef Bonez was the one wearing the mask and I automatically knew was he was because I’ve seen him trend on tiktok a few time. Their crew members were throwing lanyards into the crowd and all of a sudden they came out with water guns. I was not expecting that at all, but it made their set even more energetic. Towards the end of their set; Wakko The Kidd asked “Is anyone in here a sex offender?” and of course no one raised their hand and then he went “THEN WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!” I realized once he said that, it made me aware that this community accepts everyone besides those who do harm to others which some musicians should take this and burn it into their brains.

Insane Clown Posse was next and the crowd started screaming “WHOOP WHOOP” and then “ICP ICP ICP!” When the performance was about to start; clowns came onto the stage to open up the large curtains and that’s when the lights lit up the whole venue and you saw the whole Juggalo family tense up in anticipation and excitement. Seeing the venue lit up like that made me realize how loyal this fanbase is. Once the two artists appeared on stage; I didn’t know what I was in for. Within maybe the first 45 seconds of the first song; all these clowns came running from the back of the stage and grabbed the dozens of faygo bottles that were sitting on stage and instantly started spraying everyone. As a photographer; liquid is our worse enemy because it can destroy our camera, but I was smart and ran automatically to the side of the stage, but I was wrong. I was not smart because the clowns sprayed everyone, everything, and EVERYWHERE.

Insane Clown Posse had the most theatrical production I’ve seen. With all songs; the other crew members would come out in clown outfits swaying the hatchet man flags, spray faygo, throw ribbon into the crowd, and they came out in horror costumes as well as one of them caught my attention in a big bear costume. As I was standing embracing the community and the set; the attendees on the second floor were throwing soda into the lower audience and the whole venue smelt like sugary madness. I came into the venue not knowing who any of these artists were, but left wanting to become part of this community.
