Saliva has been filled with many announcements! They just released a new single and video for “Sadistic Love” via Judge And Jury Records. They are currently touring with some summer dates in promotion for their upcoming album BREAKING THROUGH out August 14th!
The video for “Sadistic Love” both lyrically and visually brings back those 2000’s era vibes. It’s a classic toxic love story for those that always wonder why they stay. I’m sure everyone has been there at one point or another, the lyrics that stood out to me are.
I can’t tell if we’re fighting or
Holding on
Lost between the wreckage of
What we’ve become
If this is love
Why does it feel so wrong?
Why do we bleed
Just to come undone?
Below is their video for their latest release along with what the band had to say about the single:
“Some relationships become a battlefield. You fight, you break, you swear it’s over, and then somehow you’re right back in the middle of it again. ‘Sadistic Love’ is about being addicted to the very thing that hurts you. It’s about chaos disguised as passion and pain disguised as connection. Sometimes the scars become part of the attraction. It’s messy, it’s toxic, it’s real, and we wanted the song to feel exactly like that,” shares Bobby Amaru.
