Ken Carson delivered his long-awaited “cartunez” while simultaneously kicking off his “xperimenting Tour” on August 26th. The 13-track EP comes as a disc 2 along with his latest fifth studio album, “xperiment,” which dropped back in July and arrived as a Top 10 on the Billboard 200. The project features major collaborations from OsamaSon and Opium affiliated members Destroy Lonely and ApolloRed. The multi-platinum artist appeared at the Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago for the first stop of the “xperimenting Tour” with support from xaviersobased, prettifun, and DJ Moon.
The EP, cartunez, arrives during a stellar year for the Atlanta native, with anticipated performances across 17 cities in North America before concluding in his hometown. Furthermore, adding to his long list of milestones, Ken Carson is set to make a headline appearance at this years ComplexCon in Los Angeles on October 3rd.
Ken Carson continues to gain traction and make music headlines as he successfully lands a second consecutive Top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 with the album, xperiment, not long after releasing More Chaos. On, xperiment, Carson expands on his signature aggressive, heavy-bass sound that has established his identity. This year, the Atlanta rapper has propelled himself to new heights following an electric headlining performance at Rolling Loud 2026 California. Fans had long been advocating his name to be introduced as a headliner in the hip-hop festival, with an infectious energy that is too hard to ignore.
