Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane brought their electrifying energy to The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, California on September 30, as part of their North American “If That Makes Sense” Tour, named after their third studio album, released in May 2025.
From the moment they hit the stage, the band was electric. Their performance was a seamless blend of high-octane energy, captivating visuals, and a genuine connection with the crowd. Between the vibrant lighting, the animated back screen, and the band’s stage presence, the audience could truly feel the pulse of the music.
Spacey Jane delivered a crowd-pleasing set, featuring their new hit single “Whateverrrr” along with a mix of fresh tracks from If That Makes Sense and fan favorites from earlier releases, much to the delight of longtime followers in the room.
I had the privilege of photographing the show for The Barricade Beat, and the atmosphere was nothing short of electric. Spacey Jane continues to prove why they’re one of the most exciting live acts in indie rock today.
